2011 Trailblazer Events
Trailblazers is an interactive, research-based lecture series where you can discuss PCC-related projects directly with the scientists in an informal, social atmoshpere. Each guest speaker presents an evening program at Yanni's Restaurant and a Saturday field excursion at one of the PCC properties.

VISIT THE PCC ON SATURDAYS

The Plains Conservation Center is open all winter on Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.  Come visit us from 9 am to 9:45 am to take a tour of Wells Crossing Pioneer Homestead and learn about farm chores.  Feel free to walk on the prairie trails to search for plants and animals while escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Visit a replica Cheyenne camp and see just how big tipis were.  Learn new and interesting facts every Saturday in the Front Range Building and visit with the naturalists.
