Find out how to use a variery of children's literature to study earth, life, and water cycles. Examine rocky outcrops and soil, and bring life to weather experiences. Learn to read the stories that lie beneath our feet and above our heads. WE will explore bird migration, weather, CO2, and rock cycles to enhance your knwoledge in earth and life sciences.

 

Recording the Old West

Learn about the changing perspectives of the Old Wet on the Front Range by experienceing the various ways people chronicled the events of their lives. Make a winter count in the manner of the Cheyenne with natural paints; understand the daily likfe of the pioneers using maps, family letters, and stories to enhance the teaching of recording history.
