Special Activities for Preschoolers
Fran Blanchard	Enjoy puppets, stories, activities, and songs in our comfortable museum, outside, in a tipi, or in a pioneer sod house. Get out of the house and into our native landscape while you learn together!
School Groups
Fran Blanchard	Explore our 1,100-acre prairie with your school group. See animals such as prairie dogs, pronghorn, coyotes, hawks, owls, and songbirds with an interpretive naturalist. Meet prairie reptiles and amphibians and see pelts, feathers, and view skulls in our indoor classroom.
Programs for the General Public
Fran Blanchard	The Plains Conservation Center offers many unique programs open to the general public. Join us and learn to make cheese, butter, soap and even wine! Get outdoors and experience the Colorado Prairie up close. View birds of prey. Come out for a Full Moon Walk and enjoy a bask in the beautiful light of the harvest moon as you imagine the winter preparations completed by Cheyenne Indians and Colorado homesteaders.
